As a Community Moderator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our community remains welcoming, safe, and in alignment with our guidelines. You'll handle moderation duties primarily on our Discord server and in any in-game environments (e.g., Rec Room) when necessary. This is a volunteer role perfect for individuals who are passionate about community building and maintaining positive interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and moderate community interactions to ensure compliance with community guidelines.

  • Address user reports, handle conflicts, and escalate issues when needed.

  • Maintain an active presence within the community to foster engagement and positive member behavior.

  • Help organize and support community events by enforcing rules and managing disruptive behavior.

  • Work closely with the Trust & Safety team to address any serious issues or incidents.

Requirements:
  • Age: Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Communication Skills: Clear, calm, and professional when handling disputes and providing guidance to the community.

  • Experience: Familiarity with Discord moderation tools and basic community management skills.

  • Time Commitment: Flexible but must check in regularly to ensure the community remains active and safe, particularly during peak hours or events.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally.

  • Team Player: Willing to collaborate with other moderators and escalate serious issues when necessary.

Bonus Points:
  • Familiarity with Rec Room or other in-game moderation tools.

  • Previous experience in community-building activities or event moderation.
